I've been to San Antonio three times and even though I nearly passed out from heat stroke the last time, I remember it as a very lovely place. The Alamo is a really amazing historical landmark that only takes a short time to tour. The Mexican market was great fun and the river walk area is beautiful and features boat tours and some very good restaurants.

San Antonio is not the best city in the United States, but it sure is peaceful, clean, and most of the people are very down-to-earth and friendly. I would love to visit San Antonio again. A wonderful destination to live and to vacation...

I was there for a whole week during my vacation last year and I wouldn't mind living there. There were a ton of things to do there. Sea World, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, the Riverwalk, the Tower of the Americas that overlook the downtown area, the zoo, which I learned was the nations 3rd largest, and you got to take time to see the historial missions and the King William area, a section near downtown where that have all there great old victorian homes. One thing I could not get over is how green everything is down there. The clubs downtown are great and most of them are on the river level. What a fun time, what a great time we had. I'm packing pretty soon.
