Like Pittsburgh in so many ways. Blue collar town still trying to find its way in the new knowledge based economy. Has made significant changes to its downtown and warehouse district. Its just to bad to see that a once booming metropolis has become a shell of its former self also see Detroit.

Despite their delusions of greatness, I have always liked Clevelanders. Too bad there are less and less of them left, as this metro is currently going through another one of its periodic shake outs. Heavy job losses and the fact that Cleveland is a bleak place are driving people away. Whether or not this metro can pull itself together remains to be seen.

the butt of jokes for years, cleveland is attempting a comeback. has a lot of things going for it, mostly located on one of the great lakes, which means recreation during the summer months. with a population of nearly 3 million in the metro, larger and more cosmo than one would think, business wise i mean. it snows way too much, and is too damn cloudy. plus, one of the poorer metro areas. but overall thumbs up.

At least the Cuyahoga River doesn't catch fire anymore.

kind of like Pittsburgh, except with lakes, the browns, and the Rock and Roll HOF. i had a good time there. ran into a street fair on Euclid Street and had a few beers and a hot sausage. the people were nice. also got to go to Jacob's Field.
