Pretty much a resort town. Seems to be a bit to centered around Disney World like Anahiem for Disney Land. Okay for vacation but could not honestly see myself living there. Where is the culture?

In Florida the best place for a family to live. Disney World, Sea World and more. Good business climate and there is more to Orlando then just the theme parks.

Orlando is a decent place, but does not match up to its reputation. Its all about theme parks. It is a dream world for kids, and the child in you. I would have enjoyed this place better if I was a couple of years younger.

It's a children's dream spot. I haven't been there since Bush 41 was president. It's a hectic city, but not a fickle town. ... One time I visited Disney World and Mickey Mouse accidentally bumped into me. I fell, got up, grabbed him by the fake ears, and knee-kicked him in the belly. He fell and cried. Two children with balloons made angry faces at me. So I walked over to them, popped their balloons and ran away. That's pretty much the story of my life in Orlando.

Very clean and well organized city. Even if you're not a kid, there's a lot of stuff to do here. You're close to a lot of good beaches on both the East and the West Coasts of Florida. Orlando is a very nice area to live in, probably has the some of the best living standards in the state of Florida. There are a lot of good jobs available here. Great place to raise kids, not just because it's close to Disney.

They have Disney World, and if you have kids this is one of the premiere places to take a vacation.

There are over 1 million people in the greater Orlando area that can tell you this city isn't only about Disney. Sure, if you don't make it past the Disney areas and International Blvd, you are going to think it is Disney City. But there is so much more to offer in the native areas. Orlando is clean and beautiful in almost every area, and even the suburbs seem to be really clean as well. However, with EVERY American city, there are bad areas as well. But overall, Orlando is more good than bad. Disney provides alot of jobs for people in the area. And with the economy as it is, I am sure many are thankful for the Walt Disney Company. I do not think stereotyping Orlando based on theme parks is the greatest idea. But for tourists, I can definately see why they would probably do this with Orlando, even though it is very unfair.

A fun, impressive city.
