The English Leather brand is now owned and manufactured by Dana Perfumes. I doubt Dana really has any big plans for this brand, just the usual christmas time cheapo last minute gift sets. This brand was popular up until the early to mid 1980's designer name cologne craze and rode out the 80's marketed to males not yet adapted to the department store designer brands. The scent is leathery and salty. This brand can still be found at mass discount retailers especially around christmas time. Most males have adapted to the designer name cologne trend, or at least more up-marketed brands. Good or bad? I never really wore it, though, it was popular with High School classmates in the small farm town I grew up in.

Talk about "old school" cologne! It was really popular in the late 60s and early 70s.

I liked it back in the late 70s to early 80s but I switched back to Old Spice (I've gone back to Old Spice several times when experimenting with the Calvin Kleins and Polos, etc.) My taste just changed I guess. I find I just use after shave now and don't bother with cologne. English Leather can be easily found in any drug store next to Old Spice, not with the higher end stuff.

It reminds me of the 70's. Very hard to find...is it still being made? Need a place to buy it for my brother in law. Any suggestions?
