 | Lena (25) 08/28/2008 | This was actually relevant to my degree. Since my major was Interactive Design, my electives included Glassblowing, Sculpture, Photography and Printmaking aside from the academic coursework like Calculus and Physics and whatnot.
I think more people should have the opportunity to take courses like this if they're actually serious about it.

 | kamylienne (78) 10/08/2003 | Depends on what you do with this. Computer Graphics and Animation are ever increasing in popularity (for good reason), as is Industrial Design (which should probably fall under an architecture category in a sense, but in some schools it's under the art program). And, I can assure you, there's no coasting through those courses by a long shot.

 | abichara (62) 10/08/2003 | I lack artistic skill, so obviously I'm not going to rate this very high. If you're into art and design, advanced study will no doubt be helpful in this. But if you just want to coast through college taking the underwater basketweaving series of classes, then well you need to refocus your priorities
