If only he could be limited to a "vocals only" role, like in "Cars."

He's incredibly charismatic onscreen despite the flawed vehicles he chooses. Notable exceptions: the Wes Anderson films.

What's wrong with his nose? His brother's a lot hotter than him (Luke Wilson)

Dont know how he gets work with that nose and a rather soft voice. he's just hard to tolerate on the screen.

I'm a huge fan! I've read many articles on Owen, and all say about the same of him: nice, funny and laid back. Which ,to me, is his approach to acting. People need to back off about his nose. He's fine with it and so are his fans. Anyway, I think he is hot the way he is. Whoever thinks his acting is off should give this guy a second chance. Owen is what you'd call an aquired taste for some( though I was hooked from day 1). I love his Texas drawl, smile and wry sense of humor. Sue me, I love the guy!!!--Stacy

Definately on the bottom of the scale. How he made it in so many movies over the last decade is beyond me. And what the hell is with that broken looking nose of his? You would think with the money coming in, surgery would be in place by now. lol. j/k

Wow. What better word to sum up Owen Wilson? He is an extremely funny, outragous actor. I love personally how he hasn't gotten his nose fixed just so he can be 'prettier'. Which personally, I think he already is attractive enough. But refusing to fix his nose just shows that he doesn't care what other people think of him. He is also a well rounded actor. His roles have been mainly comedies, but he was able to switch over to action in 'Behind Enemy Lines' quite well. I noticed as I read through the comments on Owen also that one person mentioned how he roles were not 'challenging'. I would like them to actually watch 'Behind Enemy Lines' the next time they see it and see how the action sequences are. I would then love to have the honor of watching them attempt to do these scenes as well as he did. Actors put a hell of a lot of effort into what they do, and though I do agree that some actors should never have become actors, I believe that Owen Wilson is a very talented actor and deserves to get some credit for what he is doing.

Will be an Oscar winner . . . someday . . . not quite there yet, but if he gets the right role (probably a supporting role) . . .

Thanks for the insult, UTVOLUSN. Although I thought Owen Wilson was quite good in"Shanghai Noon," (can't really comment on "Behind Enemy Lines" which I have not seen) his talent comes through in obscure little films like "Bottle Rocket" which he also wrote with Wes Anderson who directed "Rushmore." He also wrote with Anderson the brilliant "Royal Tenenbaums" and they were nominated this year for an Oscar. He steals "Zoolander" and probably even "Meet the Parents" from the always bright and funny Ben Stiller. He's a quite a character with a sharp sense of humor, and I look forward to seeing more of him in the future. I also look forward to more work from Mr. Spacey and Mr. Norton. Dustin's been sitting on his butt too long, and Nic Cage hasn't been any good since the 80s (I prefer Dudley Moore's drunk to his in "Leaving Las Vegas"). Keanu and Jason Biggs aren't really my type. But thanks for assuming what other actors a fan of Owen Wilson's would like - you're way off the mark, my friend.

He is nothing new and I can't possibly fathom why anybody would give him four stars. With so many other great actors out there why would someone think he was something special. Which one of his performance has been underrated, Shanghai Noon, Behind Enemy Lines? I don't consider those roles to be very demanding. For whoever thinks he is great, please stay away from Kevin Spacey, Nicolas Cage, Edward Norton, and Dusin Hoffman, you might die from shock at how great they are. Stick with Keanu Reeves and Jason Biggs so you aren't overwhelmed.

he seems to be pretty decent. probably under-rated and should stay that way.
