I took a group of senior adults to Blue Ridge to get apples last
Thursday. We had a very good experience. The bus was new and the driver was very courteous and helpful to everyone. I will use them again. Also, the staff was very accommodating and courteous to work with.

I recently had a Harmon Bus experience and let me tell you it was a trip from hell.
1. The buses are old and outdated and in need of serious repairs. they gave a school a bus with mechanical defects that caused the bus to sway (heavily from side to side) for 700+ miles.
even 2 of the 3 drivers we had said the bus was unsafe.
The first driver started out the trip by stating "this is not the bus I usually drive, and we (the bus drivers) have been up here at the school since 6pm and it's 9pm and were just now leaving. this is crazy, oh yeah yall can play one movie then give it a break cause we dont want the battery draining out and NO Bootleg videos, but if you must go ahead..cause I know yall gonna play em anyway." this was the driver for about 45min til passengers started complaining that the bus was swaying very hard and at times seemed that he didn't have control of the bus! these are people that have taken several bus rides, most of them on a Harmon Bus.
So we pulled over and he exited the bus saying he shoulda stayed at home and he didn't want to drive that bus cause he couldn't handle it. (It being a defect in the steering and suspension)
the 2nd driver entered the bus a much more professional driver with a positive atitutude and alert.
we started out on our journey again, 5 min on the highway he noticed the excessive sway and play in the steering wheel. but he managed to get us up the road.
It would take me too long to write everything that went wrong with the bus. But I will never ever ride on another Harmon Bus! there were 4 other buses that were fine but the fact that Harmon would send a faulty bus to a school is sad, and shows a lack of professionalism.

How would I rate Harmon brothers? I wouldn't! 0
only the drivers that did the best they could with what they had to drive! 5

The Driver I had was not a Safe Driver. Drivers use two way phones while Driving at 80 MPH. Older Drivers with slow reflexes. Depends on main passanger verbal guidance after written directions were given before departure. Dont think you can relax when you charter Harmon Brothers.
