These are just ok. I bought these a few times because they are pretty cheap around the Chicago area. The kings last as long as 100's last for me... with that said I had to take pretty heavy drags to get a solid smoke flow going. These are not the worst smoke I've had but all in all it is worth the extra buck to get a Marb or Camel.

Back before tar and nicotine ratings were abolished, one could look them up and find that full flavor Pall Mall Filters (Red box) were exceptionally strong – partly because it burned so slow, but also because it was just plain strong, little short of the few unfiltered cigarettes still on the market. Pall Mall Filters (Blue box), formerly Lights, are likewise exceptionally strong – in fact the old ratings had it at nearly the same strength as most other full-flavor cigarettes. Anyone who liked the rich tangy sweetness of the Red but otherwise found it overstrong may want to give these a try, as it has the same flavor profile, somewhat more mildly pitched. The filter is on the stiff side – kneading it a bit might help – but non-light smokers who find the Red box too much may be pleasantly surprised with the Blue, since it’s more like a regular cigarette than a light. Clearly, the old Pall Mall Filters Ultra Light (now the Orange box) is the true “light” in this brand lineup.

Ahh Pall Mall lights, now these are truely under estimated cigarettes. What can i say about them other then i like them. They taste good, burn forever and sorta on the stronger side (for a light cigarette). Call me crazy, but i REALLY think that RJR started putting the same blend of tobaccos in pall mall lights that they use in camel lights, because they taste really close. Marlboro lights cant touch these and 1.50 cheaper then premium brands has me sold when i need something a little cheaper. Solid 4/5

I would have given them a 3 if I had just started smoking them, but after having to resort to cheaper brands of cigarettes (due to pay cuts at work) for a good while now, I've learned how to enjoy these better.

You have to roll the filter around in-between your fingers for a good minute or two, fold the filter in half one way and then do it another, and just constantly wear it down. This really helps to make it a good smoke 'cause the way they pack the filters in for these is way too tight, so you have to do certain tricks to loosen up all the fibers so you're able to take a good drag.

Once you've done that, these really aren't a half bad cigarette. Comparable to a Marlboro Light but last twice (maybe three times) as long and have a lesser chemical taste to them. Try 'em out, they're pretty cheap everywhere. I get them here in Georgia for $3 a pack when I'm broke.

My favorite brand is the menthal ligtht 100. Lack of consistancy is my only concern.

Very good. They're inexpensive, and miles above Marlboros.

Not bad, but not great. I've gotten two or three packs of these, and they always seem to go stale less than a day later. Kind of similar to Camel Lights in terms of strength, but definitely lacking quality. Not smooth at all. Only thing good about them is they're cheaply priced and have a good brun on them...not too slow, not too fast.
