Johnny Carson (Died 1/23/05) 1

Nobody expected Johnny Carson to be the next to pass away because he seemed to be in pretty good health and was not especially old considering George Burns and Bob Hope made it to 100 and Milton Berle was in his 90s when he died. In the thirty years that Johnny hosted the Tonight show there were many, many very funny moments, some of which have been shown in the tributes which have been airing. The two which will live in infamy (in my view) are the scenes where Ed Ames throws the tomahawk at a cowboy outline and it lands in such a way that it looks like the cowboy has an erection, and the time when Raquel Welsh came out as a guest with her cat. During the course of their conversation she asked Carson if he would like to pet her pussy. Carson replied that he would and he would also like to pet the cat as well. The number of stars who owe their success to the break they got on the Tonight Show could fill a telephone book. RIP Johnny.
