Depends on the bar, depends on the person, depends on you, depends on what you're looking for.

And one night stands are hardly unique to bars.

And further, many meetings in bars turn out to be much more than one night stands.

Like I said, depends on the bar, the person, and you.

Other than a one-night stand; I doubt you'll find too many decent choices in a bar

Guys at a bar arent looking for a long term relationship (while they are there).  If they hook up with anyone, you can be sure that its gonna be a one night thing...or possibly form a habit of calling them up only when they are drunk.

I'd say the key is to look for the signs...and of course sit at the bar itself...preferably next to a few women...avoid the groups of 3 or more...probably will be shot down...Don't want to look too obvious like you're working the room or anything...

There's an old country song that says The 10 that I went to bed with at 2 was a 2 when I woke up at 10.

You people are soft. A bar is a challenging, exciting place to meet someone. You get the best and worst kinds of people in a casual atmosphere. Good times, good food, good music. . .If you can't meet someone at a decent bar than jump off a high cliff.

In my experience and from what I have seen over the years, relationships started in these establishments don't last long at all. But there are some exceptions, but it is rare indeed.

Perfect, if you want an alcoholic, a drug addict or a predator.

When you're drunk, You'll take home anyone and anything.

This is actually pretty funny. So many people think they are going to find the love of their lives at a freaking bar. This can be fun. There can be a lot of hot women but there are a lot of other horny guys you have to compete with. If we were rating places to find a quick fling I'd probably give it 5 stars.
