He head hunts and then threates the opposition with more of the same. Zim had the class to apologize for his misbehavior ( the only one in the bunch from that day). Not to mention, why didn't Martinez back away from Zim, I guess he just couldn't resist the opportunity to hit an old man. He's a class act. He got what he deserved though, an early trip to the offseason.

Oh let's hear it from all the Yankee fans about poor old 72 year old Don Zimmer getting thrown on the ground by a 31 year old Pedro Martinez. Face the facts of the recent incident: Zimmer ignoring all other players charges directly at a stationary Martinez who puts up a finger to warn him off. Zimmer keeps coming and Martinez sidesteps him and pushes him to the ground. Good and hard admittedly, but Zimmer had it coming. It appeared to me to be a deliberate assault on the oppositions starter. What more could be expected from this ignoramus, who virtually singlehandedly destroyed the Red Sox in the late '70s. He's of no value to any team, except as comic relief.
