Usually they come out near or right after Thanksgiving.  But, then again Al Gore said all the Polar Bears are drowning so maybe they wont.  LMFAO

I think the coca-cola commercials are one of my favorite things about christmas....

These only come out at Christmas time. So they are part of a tradition....and i really like polar bears....but unfortuantlly I drink Pepsi..

for the most part I liked it . But even for a commercial I felt like the push was just a little too strong. I don't like anything too schmaltzy, but maybe that's just me!

I like the little noises that the polar bears make. They're certainly a lot friendlier than real polar bears, who would eagerly rip your head off and dismember you.

What makes (or perhaps made) the Coke polar bear ads effective in my opinion is how strikingly different these spots are from the competitors. Most soda and beer ads are busy, trendy, and attempt to convince the viewer that X Cola will make you hip, fun and popular. These commercials are minimal and deliberate by comparison with nary a spoken line. Obviously animated bears and penguins are also designed to appeal to children (though probably not teenaged boys), but they also work on a much higher level.

Love the bears and like these ads even better since they added the penguins.
