06/14/2005 | Whether the Beach Boys were/are the greatest band ever is open for debate. But certainly, they were one of the best ever. Who can forget such hits as 'California Girls', 'Little Deuce Coupe', 'Good Vibrations', 'Warmth of the Sun' and the timeless 'Don't Worry Baby'? These songs reresented the happier moments in the otherwise-turbulent 1960s. And with regards to Castlebee, the Beach Boys and their music epitomized summer (for me, it is the lazy summer days gazing at the sunset while at the beach). Their music was truly 'Americana' at its finest. And as such, the Beach Boys legacy lives on.

05/28/2004 | An awesome band with numerous awesome songs. From their early work like Good Vibrations, to later classics like I Can Hear Music and Kokomo, they make great, enjoyable music. A classic band, for sure!

01/12/2004 | Much more than a California surfer band although that's their reputation. Brian Wilson was an inventive songwriter and the band had a unique sound. The chord progressions on songs like Good Vibrations are amazing.
