I take this under consideration, but I'm not a freak about it."Accident" avoidance is much more important.

I don't know enough about this stuff, perhaps, but I can speak to the one accident I was the driver for (been in a few where my brother was driving... don't ask). I was in a Suburban and hit a little red Honda. I was fine, she decided after walking around until the cop showed up that she was viciously maimed and needed an ambulance. She later tried to sue for a myriad of implausible injuries, but based on the bumper of the Honda, I at least believe the minor ones. The totality of it was that the Honda needed a tow and a body shop, and I had a paint mark and a scratch on the bumper. I win.

Reading crash test results are important. Not enough people think about this. . .until it is far too late.

The most important factor. You have to do your homework and make a responsible choice.

Your serious...ok...never mind if you want your children to be unsafe then go ahead and worry about looks,if it has a loud radio, or fancy wheels. Myself i want to make sure the vehicle is not going to get my family killed due to a problem with the car.

I wanted a BMW Z4 Roadster, but read if in accident (hit in sides) can get seriously hurt.
