Drew Barrymore is actually a very talented actress, but I give her an overall four stars as far as how seriously I take her for having been previously married to the very unfunny and untalented Tom Green.

As an actress, seriously, as she possesses some talent. As a person, not seriously at all becasue she's thirteen kinds of a froot loop who comes from an old Hollywood family full of screwballs.

she is allright. she has risen above some of the troubles she has as teen and managed to have a career past childhood. I like how she can poke fun at herself. I would not hang on every word she says. she has shown a person can have problems and couquer them.

She's been great in some recent stuff. Almost didn't recognize her in Donnie Darko.

Not that I have any pity for them, but in a sense it's gotta be tough to be a child star. Right off the bat you're rich and famous. Where's your ambition and motivation at that point? You've got no place to go but down. And talk about hanging out with the wrong crowd - some of these rich kids are the most self-defeating groups of people you'll ever meet. Drew Barrymore as a teenager has tons of cash to blow and nothing real important that she needs to get done, so she parties her butt off and does a few crazy things. She's rebounded nicely and made a great career for herself. Hats off.

Yet another person that doesn't make it easy to take them seriously. Still, to be where she is today after some of the things she has been through is very impressive.
