How can you take any DOUCHEBAG that's involved in a copyright infringement battle against the bouncing YouTube baby seriously?

Blame it on the Saturday Night Live sketches.

He certainly doesn't make it easy. Perhaps one of the most inspired songwriters of our time, he insists on shadowing that talent by showing his ass (literally). I agree with Castlebee, I would rather listen to him than watch him.

I like several of his songs. However, I think he also acts like an affected boob. In his line of work, he certainly isnt alone in that kind of behavior though which just makes him someone I would rather listen to than watch.

In general, I take no stars seriously. Prince, like all other stars, is an entertainer. He's good at what he does, but the same thing can be said about so many others in different professions.

Well you can't deny Prince's musical talent even if you don't like his music. But the guy wears high heels with velvet and lace one pieces- not to mention his share of make up... it's amazing he takes himself so seriously.

I saw Prince tooling around the streets one day with his entourage. The guy's like 4 feet tall, weighing a buck ten soaking wet. But man the guy still can put on a show, and he'll pack the house. He had the name changing thing which was kind of a joke but that was originally only to back out of contractural obligations with his former record company. Now I think he just likes the attention.

Prince has more talent in his toenail clippings than any half baked screeching tart of the moment... His husic is timeless, and still sounds as good today as it did back in his heyday... Go on, go give Sign O' the Times a listen, you won't regret it. Then go smash all your boy-band crap and listen to some real music.

Although he's definately eccentric, and some of his music turns me off completely, the songs I like I like a lot,and I have to give him LOTS of credit as a musician-this man can single-handedly write, produce and perform an entire album-playing EVERY instrument. Not too many people can do that.

I used to think that Prince was a joke and even a freak when I was a kid. I didn't understand his dress sense and I laughed at the thought of him calling himself Symbol - The Artist Formerly know as Prince. I heard Cream in a club the other day and for a record thats tweleve years old it sounded perfect. I find myself appreciating his music a lot more lately than its original release dates, the simple reason being is that this guy was far too ahead of his time to be fully appreciated. You listen to some of his classics Diamonds and Pearls, Purple Rain, 1999, Kiss, Alphabet Street, Batdance, Raspberry Beret, The Most Beautiful Girl in the World and you can understand this man fully deserves a place in pop history for his creativity alone which is a rarity compared to some of the repetitive bland garbage we're hearing today.

He don't move me, mother. This guy looks like a bad dream. I can't stand the sounds he makes. I thought Bob Dylan was ugly - he looks like Mary Magdalene compared to this freak !

Being a musician of 30 years myself I take him very seriously! If you call yourself a musician and don't take this guy seriously you better retire now. While he is eccentric to say the least, he is loaded up with talent. I dont know of an artist that has recorded anything in the last 10 years who can hold a candle to him. He is an artist from an age where musicians still cared about there art. He became famous because he had talent, not because he someone knew how to market him or because he sounded like something that had sold records a hundred times before. He is a great vocalist, and plays more instruments than I know at the highest level, a true student of music. You obviouly cannot say that about 50cent, Britney, Usher, Godsmack or any other of the fools out there like them. He can move a crowd by himself sitting there with his guitar. In a music world full of posers, and products of the industries powerful people, he is the real deal.'nuff said.
