Scott Van Pelt is my favorite Sportscenter anchor right now. Kenny Mayne is rarely seen, and seems to only do special features. Dan Patrick is the face of Sportscenter, but he has become annoying over the last few years, and all of the other anchors seem to try to hard to be funny. Van Pelt's lines are clever and he delivers them well. More recent Sportscenter anchors just seem to think that they can say any random thing to get a reaction, but it just doesn't work that way.

Number 1 in the hood, g! Love his catchphrases and his sometimes dry sense of humor.

Scott Van Pelt is the man, not only is he one of the funniest anchors on SportsCenter (I love the Ali G & ATHF references) but he takes time out of his busy day to respond to critics on the Internet and puts them to shame.
