Sndie moved to Capeside with her brother Jack. Her older brother Tim, died in a car crash, her mother has mental problems and her dad isn't much of a father. Andie first had a relationship with Pacey, and then went to a mental hospital when she started having problems. While there, her relationship with Pacey was shattered, although they still remain good friends.
