Two Magic Dick's. Was a huge Geils fan in the seventies, when they played local bars and Cousins Gym at Tufts. "Full House" was a damn fine live album. Their later stuff I thought was mediocre at best. Just can't get into this song.Whammer Jammer, let me hear ya, Dickey!

For some reason, the 80's are a real big thing down here in Gainesville; there are at least three bars/clubs I know about that have "80's Night". A couple of weekends ago, I was leaning up against a column while keeping an eye out on my husband and four other drunk male friends who were "dancing" (I'm using that term fairly loosely here) at such a club. Somewhere between "Centerfold" and "Wild Wild West" by Escape Club, I finally loosened up and let myself enjoy the super-cheesy music. It's kinda hard not to like the goofiness of it all.
