Made Bonanza look like a soap opera.
Saturday night TV was great then... not like now.

 | Moosekarloff (17) 02/25/2003 | Uncommon plotlines, atmospheric production values, literate scripts and outstanding performances by Richard Boone made this perhaps the most intelligent and compelling TV horse opera of its time. Makes Wagon Train, The Rifleman, Bonanza, Stoney Burke, Wanted Dead Or Alive, etc. look like cartoonish crap suitable only for the kiddies.
