I like the disco style because it's upbeat, pleasant, and fun. It's like the soft-serve ice cream of the music world.

disco can be so fun. its carefree dance music where you can be yourself.

What's so wrong with something that is intended to be fun? At the time, the country was in a post Vietnam depression and music was rather lackluster. Think of all the older artists that made disco records......Rolling Stones, Bee Gees, Elton John, Rod Stewart, Paul McCartney, Diana Ross and even Frank Sinatra.

Disco was okay. it was big when I was in high school and early college. there were all kinds of disco dance classes offered in my first year of college.{I did not take one} there were some good disco songs. I liked Last Dance. and a few others. for the most part, I was NOT a huge disco fan. most of the music sounded the same. I am not so sure I like saying that this was popular when I was in high school. Let me put it this way. We have about 350 cds. out of all of the music we have I only have ONE disco cd. and that is only because Last Dance was on it.{ I like Donna summers powerful singing voice}

Disco was a really crazy party that seemed like a lot of fun at the time but the next day you woke up, looked at your clothes and thought...what in the world was THAT all about?

IT WAS A WILD AND FUN TIME. I WAS 14 AND LIVED PRETTY CLOVE TO STUDIO 54 DURING IT'S PEAK. BUT UNLUCKY FOR ME IT CLOSED BY THE TIME I TURNED 18. LEGAL BAR AGE IN THE 70'S.
