bell bottoms have come and gone for decades. they were popular in the mid 70s when I was in high school. i know I owned at least one pair. some of them were huge bottoms. they were okay. I did not always go with the fads but I did have a pair of these.back then I do not remember them being so outrageously expensive as some blue jeans can be now.

I used to have a pair of these really big bell bottoms and I once tripped over them.

im glad bell bottoms came back in. they fit me better than straight legs or baggy pants.

It's hard for me to judge some of the really old stuff out of time. I wore bells back when you wouldn't have been caught dead wearing slim-legged jeans. So, obviously I thought they were pretty great. When straight legs came in fashion I started wearing those. I see them as the more classic look now. All I have to do to keep that opinion is look in my old photo albums. Eeek!
