07/06/2004 | This is so typical of Dorothy Parker. She is one of my all time favorites as are most members of the Algonquin round table. Two other Parker-isms come to mind. She said You can lead a horticulture but you can't make her think and If all of the girls who attended the Yale prom were laid end to end, I wouldn't be a bit surprised.

It would be great to hear her take on reality shows like The Bachelorette and on sleazy performers like Britney Spears. UPDATE: My favorite quote by Dorothy Parker is Everything fun is either illegal, immoral or fattening.

03/02/2004 | this was one of her funnier quotes. she could come up with some pretty good zingers.I would also be interested in what she would have to say about recent books,movies, and television. I would not want to be on the receiving end of her insults. she did have a good witty comeback on a lot of subjects.
