I am from Hong Kong, and thank God daily for the British Empire, It made my land the most profitable and worthy and business orientated patch on earth, the British Proved there skills in Hong Kong, just as the Portuguise failed in Macau (Corruption Ect), I say bring back the British Empire - it saved us all

Oh, give me a break; the last time I checked the Brits hadnt cornered the market on bad behavior. Old Duncan needed to widen his horizons. Maybe he was just terminally po'd because he had such a dorky first name.

Here I go again with the version I heard... It's slightly corrupted, and somewhat earthier and descriptive. The sun never sets on the British Empire because you can't trust the bas###ds in the dark. I have to say that my dealings with Brits have been mixed, from the standpoint of trustworthiness. Thankfully, most have been extremely trustworthy and professional (I'm referring to military and government civilians I interfaced with); however, I have had a couple of less than pleasant dealings with business people in the UK, the worst involving getting stiffed for a modest chunk of money for a book that I had published there.
