I ain't gonna lie, George Lucas has gone over the deep end when it comes to marketing this stuff, but I got a shelf of it. I still think the story more vital, which is why I have alot of the books and such, but I also take Star Wars into the back yard with my trusty lightsabers...

After a while it seemed that these were the object of the movies, rather than the narrative.

I should rank this one higher. . .but as a kid I must admit a fondness for these. My imagination did run wild- but Lucas' obsession with squeezing every dollar possible out of a marketing blitzes of epic proportions does diminish my childhood memories of truth, justice, and the Almost-American way. . .

The one thing I hate about this is that I find most items overpriced!

This doesn't bother me at all. I happen to collect toy figurines, happy meal toys, disney toys and similar items. While I liked Star Wars, I am in no way a fanatic about it. I have no Star Wars toys and was never interested in them.
