For a start, it is using the Lord's name lightly and I wander whether Fran even believes in God. Besides, the thing which defines beauty in God's eyes certainly isn't anything physical.

Actually, this reminds me of something some dude said when he came to Halifax. He's from like Brazil or something. And he said, here in Canada, your woman are beautiful, but your men are so ugly! This reminds me of that, it;s hilarious really. but isn't it true though?

Fran Lebowitz is the Dorothy Parker of our generation. Her books 'Social Studies' and 'Metropolitan Life' are filled with hilarious musings and biting commentary on her fellow New Yorkers and American culture in general.
