At it's best this is simply boring, but at its worst it sounds like a cat strangling contest.

its a harmless fun pastime for those that have the nerve to do it. i don't. as bad as i sing it wouldn't be harmless for me. but i don't mind watching those willing to risk rejection,being made fun of or insulted. everybody deserves a few minutes in the spotlight if they want.

A bar closeby was given a permit to have naked karaoke. An innovative approach to karaoke you might think? Maybe you'll get a chance to see that hot blonde in your 11th grade Trig class dance around with no clothes on while singing her rendition of Barbie girl? That was my hope going in, but in reality it was a bunch of middle aged trash who were piss drunk and singing American Pie for 4 hours. Yuck.

You really can't possibly know the extent of this until you hear Chinese Opera karaoke at 3AM, complete with gongs and shrill wails, especially when the speakers are located directly below your bed one floor down. I'm glad my parents found a hobby, but why, oh why, out of all things . . . .
