Soccer is for kids that can't make it in real sports: football, baseball, basketball. If you could pick up the ball and run with it, and if you could throw it to another player, and if you could tackle the dude that's running with it, and if there were any semblance of order on the field, you'd have something. I guess we already do. It's called football. The increasing popularity of this sport indicates national decline. If I were military dictator, I'd ban it immediately. Wait! It does have one therapeutic effect. Insomniacs can watch it at night and drop off to sleep in about three minutes. If watching a bunch of no-talents running around in circles turns your crank, maybe you should move to Brazil. The riots are more entertaining than the dumbass game.

While many kids get their first taste of organized athletics in this game it does not excuse it from being the worst high school sport known to man. Mindnumbingly dull at times the game suffers from to big a field, to much running, not enough scoring and played during football season. Maybe if the goal was about eight feet wider and four feet taller it would allow goals from longer distances to make the game more entertaining.

I never was a fan of soccer and never was. Their is contact,but they kicka black and white ball around and can't use their hands.
