I love Tivo as much as i love going to see a movie and belive me, that love. It is the all time greatest invention ever invented for the t.v. I like it better then the remot. I NEVER HAVE TO WATCH COMMERCIALS. i record what i want to watch and watch it when its conveniont. I can slow-mo a nice catch a wide reciever makes when i am watching football. I can pause LIVE tv when i need to go to the bathroom. I do not know why they don't make t.v's with Tivo equiped. If you have the slightest thought about bying Tivo, do it. It has made t.v alot more injoyable. I'll never watch regular t.v again.

I love Tivo and like dharmamomma said we will never watch TV the old way again (and like it. There is only one thing wrong with it; it doesn't have a direct connection with our digital cable so sometimes the channel doesnt change and we miss our show! That really sucks....:( Other then that its pretty great.

AWESOME! I've had mine since Christmas 2000 and will never watch TV the old way again! I watch what I want to watch, when I want to watch it, and skip all the commercials with the push of a button. I've checked out the competition, but they just don't stack up. If I want to watch one program and Tivo another, I can with just my standard cable hook up, and Tivo has this guide system that lets me tell it to record certain TYPES of programs, or movies with Christofer Walken, or WHATEVER! I love my Tivo, in case you can't tell.
