About at the level of Bud, Millers, or Coors. One of the beers that should be served cold, if served at all, to distinguish it from beer processed through the body and leaving via ureters.

A stupid campaign for a most undistinguished brew. Foster's tastes like sugar was added at the last minute, like, when they were putting the beer into the can, mate.

Foster's Beer was one of the greatest beers in the world...now it is a piss poor attempt at beer...why because they started brewing it in CANADA.  It now tastes like the worst of Moosehead and Labats.  Horrid stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  A grudging one star

Whatever happened to Foster's Beer.  I remember when it first came out it was probably the most popular beer going (in Canada).  Then over the years it just disappered.  It really is a great beer.  Now, that you reminded me about it, I'm going to go and get some.

This Foster's beer ad campaign seems to come and go, and I don't recall seeing too many recently. If memory serves, they first started when Americans were going through a relatively short-lived Australian faze with Crocodile Dundee, Men At Work, and Outback Steakhouse being in the pop culture. I suppose Foster's wanted to cash in, and the ads were apparently successful. Didn't work on me though, as I don't remember ever drinking a Foster's.

First of all, the best advertisement is a good product and Foster's certainly is a good beer. . .having said that, the one where the bride dives in the barrel of water for a beer and is called a 'keeper' is too funny for words. . .

I can't believe these other guys ratings! I have found the best beer ever made.....Fosters has the best taste of all beers. As I got to about half way through 24.5 ounce can I turn to my buddy and said I had found my beer forever there can be no other before Fosters WOW! Thanks Guys I'm hooked for good. Foster's is Australian for nothing, no one there drinks it. Try XXXX, or Victoria, that's what they really slam down.
