Death is certainly the great mystery of human existance. The terminus of life has always been a motivating factor for us. How we see death many times is a reflection of our values in life. Usually it goes that if you've lived a life that is truly worthwhile, that has more meaning beyond satisfying base desires, you will take death as just a part of life.

My favorite last words. He is also the author of my favorite quote regarding a healthy marriage, let not the sun set on your anger. He didn't mean it in that context, but no truer words have ever been spoken. He was, of course, the brother of Harriet Beecher Stowe who, according to Abraham Lincoln upon meeting her, was the little woman who caused this great, big war.
