He partied hard. There is a family in my town who proudly keeps a carpet containing a genuine Dylan Thomas vomit stain. He may have lived longer had he hurled the night of the quotation.

A blazing genius who burned himself out, Thomas is one of the finest poets of this century. And like his famous poem, he did not go gentle into that good night
