This movie proves that destroying the world's nuclear weapons will not bring universal peace because even before the missles were cast into the sun a new super villian was created. This nuclear man was just some freak with long fingernails created by Lex the babysitter Luthor. After watching this horrible movie you'll know why they haven't made a superman movie since.

Best Superman movie bar none? Not quite sure if I want to know why. Personally I thought the term scraping the barrel seemed more apt. But then what do I know?

The best of the classic Superman movies, bar-none. Starting off with a bang where Superman rescues an endangered space station, this one has action, comedy and good acting. The special effects are not quite Star Trek-caliber, but are good nonetheless. Also, the cheer-worthy scene where Superman throws all of the world's nuclear missles into the sun is one of the films great moments. A good ending adds to the coolness.
