The first of the Rocky series that I have seen, Rocky IV is an interesting drama movie, of a kind I hadn't seen before this. It invloves everyone's favorite American boxer going up against a Russian wonder, after one of Rocky's friends is killed in a fight against the Russian. The Russian fighter is trained scientifically and is enhanced by drugs. The fight occurs in Russia, where the Cold War is still on. There is some odd humor before the Russian scenes, in a slob friend of Rocky's getting a robot girl, and there are some references to previous films, I believe. The acting is good, especially from the supporting cast. The music is unique and enjoyable. Also, the ending is very smile-worthy.

The sort of film that really is so bad it's funny! Don't think a review really merits much thought, the dialogue, acting or production obviously didn't!

All Rocky movies after the first one are the worst of dreck.
