Wish we had a parliament where all citizens were represented, instead of the corporate dominated center-right government we 'enjoy' today.

These guys could then provide comic relief.

I can remember when this party started and thinking that not all their ideas sucked. Problem is when you find out the foundation of those ideas are meditation and all kinds of fruity, wacko talk from a bunch of doctors and lawyers it's quite a turn off. Plus, they have a lot of ideas that do suck. Not even sure if they are still around on a national level as I have not seen or heard of any candidates for anything in about 12 years, but can't say I really miss them either.

How you can base a political party on transcendental meditation and the teachings of a yogi is beyond me.

Hilarious screwballs. Would be entertaining to elect half a dozen to Congress.

Though I would consider myself a Natural Law Theorist in the Aristotelian model the Natural Law Party leaves much to be desired. Some of the half-baked ideas fly in the face of the theory itself: the codification of the Ten Commandments into law eschews an understanding of democratic pluralism further to the core of Natural Law Theory. The progression of literal biblical text as the foundation of law isolates procedurally individual behavior in a manner similar to Kantian liberalism in essence giving you similar results for the opposite reasons. It's like a party against itself.
