03/24/2008 | I believe in peace within myself but places like the Middle East will never see peace. They have not had peace for many generations and now the USA is involved in their civil war. The USA has every right to defend itself against terrorists like Osama Bin Laden but there comes a time when we have to concede that we will never prevent or stop people from trying to hurt us. I believe 4000 lives lost to this "War on Terror" is more than enough. Bring our troops home and let them protect our homeland.

Think for yourself - when are you able to sleep the best ? it is only when your mind is peaceful, with less anxiety and few thoughts. similarly world will be happy if we all make a single goal in life to work for peace in this world.

10/10/2004 | As an ideal, I believe in peace. But peace will be achieved only when ignorance and greed are erradicated on a global scale. In other words, when every living thing is dead, there will be peace in the world. I may sound cynical, but I have watched two fat squirrels and a well-fed blue jay, all with peanut in their mouths, fighting bitterly over a Cheerio. These three (I'll spare you the names they answer to) knew food was coming every day. If they can't work it out, I have little hope for humans.

01/09/2004 | I believe that everyone has to start with themselves. You need to achieve inner peace and then it become contagious. But achieving inner peace is difficult. I think that world peace is possible but not probable :(

12/05/2003 | Peace does not and cannot exist. Even if we threw all our weapons in the furnace, held hands 'round the world singin' kumbaya or whatever we would not have peace. We'd still have conflicts in our ideas, in ourselves, the struggle of life, the fact life doesn't just come easy and you have to fight against various elements to get the most out of it would still be an intangible element of living. If conflict ceased to exist then so would peace and we would loose the most important dimension of the universe. As a certain great thinker once said a thesis and an antithesis creates a synthesis and that is what life is in my humble opinion. All the universe is a balance, every positive needs a negative and every light needs darkness otherwise the universe would not exist as we know it.
