 | lmorovan (12) 04/18/2008 | "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

 | Humorbot (21) 04/01/2008 | Definitely. Not even the remotest possibility that Love doesn't exist. Even if perhaps not as many feel it as one would hope.

 | ILikePie (49) 03/26/2008 | Well it seems to work fine and bring happiness for most people... I'm really not old enough to have earnt the right to skepticism yet... but then I also haven't earnt the right to security in my mind, so I'll play it safe with a four.

 | Jmichael (7) 01/10/2007 | A life without love must suck. It's hard to believe in it because people rarely see it and to many people use this word without any meaning.

 | HistoryFan (98) 11/28/2006 | I'll say this; God is love but love isn't necessarily God.

 | LastMessenger3 (40) 11/27/2006 | No matter what people say to me whether I am unrealistic, or too optimistic, or too hopeful, I still believe in love. Not the kind of love where you can't defferentiate between a fling, a infatuation, fatal attraction, or a cruch, but rather a raw, real, and unworldly feeling of a content and bliss. It might cost me being single forever, but it's worth it.

 | abichara (60) 11/27/2006 | To varying degrees, yes. Some love is unconditional, but other types are more fleeting, like infatuations.

 | numbah16tdhaha (147) 11/27/2006 | Hmm... I dunno anymore. Most of the people who claim to have loved me were a little psycho, hence my skepticism...

 | Bird808 (52) 01/30/2006 | I absolutely believe in love. Sometimes it may not even be obvious for you, but others around you might see it. It's scary when you finally come face-to-face with that "significant other" that feels the same way you do as you know its real and the truth scares us sometimes. Its no use running, hiding and pretending, you can't even control it, when cupid hits you with that arrow its unlike anything your ever going to experience. Be open to it, let that person in, accept it, don't chase it and it will eventually come to you when you least expect it.

 | trebon1038 (62) 01/28/2006 | I believe in love on so many levels. Unconditional like pets and most children give us, platonic which is the best. True friendship falls here. Family love like your immediate family then of course romantic which always eludes me. Love is a powerful thing.

 | Jar-Jar Binks (16) 07/02/2005 | It's a wonderful thing. We all need it in our lives. How can you not love love? Anyone who doesn't believe in it will not live long-term.

 | randomoscity (3) 05/24/2005 | Love...I can't say that I truly believe in it. Romeo and Juliet were stupid. Love at first sight is a myth. That which we call love in the everyday sense is a self-delusion which can be overcome in certain circumstances. In an abusive relationship, the abused wife thinks she still loves her husband, but it is mere delusion. After all, love can't exist with hatred. The only real love in this world is parent to child, sister to brother, or friendship. You can't fall in love with a stranger.

 | PrettyKitty (0) 04/22/2005 | I have love, therefore I believe in love. I have an immense capacity for love; it is truly awesome. Love is a constant for me.

 | White Diamond (2) 12/30/2004 | I believe in love. Love of my son is unconditional. Romantic love waxes and wanes, unfortunately. When it's good, it wonderful, after you've lost it, it sucks majorly.

 | Aurielle (18) 11/20/2004 | I know I only gave Love a 2 before when I rated it, but that was in January when my best friend (who I loved like a sister) stole my boyfriend (who I also loved). That, of course, can make a girl a little bit bitter. But now that things are back to normal (relatively) I can say that I really do believe in love. Sure, it can tear you up sometimes and make you feel like you're going in circles . . . but I can't say it doesn't exist, because I've seen it and I have it right now.

 | brygidab (0) 08/22/2004 | If there's love there wouldn't be so many wars or unhappy people in the world. So don't tell me that a lot of people still believe in it.

 | towny114 (1) 07/01/2004 | I believe in love. I have only loved one girl, and in that time period I was with her, I felt invincible. Love makes you do things you never would have thought of. You feel on top of the world and things couldnt be better. When its gone and you realize it, you are never the same.

 | Enkidu (37) 05/08/2004 | Yes, it exists. Scrape away the dirty coating of cynicism and you can find it in most people. Takes a little courage to do but it's worth the trouble.

 | Beloved (21) 05/08/2004 | Love is the basis of true power and influence. It controls all things in its embrace. Love transcends all good and horror.

 | OrangeCharlie (5) 01/09/2004 | YES, I surely do believe in love. It's hard to believe in it when you just can't seem to find it but once you've found it how can you not believe. True love does all those wonderful things that all the great songs talk about.

 | forgotten hero (13) 12/07/2003 | I used to but when I go outside and look into the hearts of other people I only see hate or love for themselves.

 | freebird_0128 (5) 11/26/2003 | I think that everyone at one point in their lives believes in love. How can you not? In a world filled with so much beauty and opulence and yet still turbulent and troubled, we as humans still survive. Would this be possible without some facet of love? Whether it be a devoted mother, a compassionate humanitarian or a just a person sharing a smile, love cannot be denied.

 | kamylienne (77) 11/08/2003 | Without a doubt. Love is defined as a profoundly tender or passionate affection of a person, and though I can't explain WHY love exists, or HOW it works, I do know it's there.
