Might be the best interview of all the founding fathers for an unusual reason- unlike Jefferson, Adams, or Franklin, he left very few writings to posterity. It's like the Founding Fathers knew they were making history so they left many personal writings. Not Washington. He was painfully aware of his lack of formal university training in the presence of greater intellects - conversely, the intellects certainly stood in awe of Washington as the pure masculine essence of the American Revolution. Because Washington left so little for us, he's a fascinating subject for me. And any historical investigation shows just how hard it was for Washington to actually hold things together during his tumultuous and groundbreaking first presidency. And then Washington did what few (if any) men are capable of doing- he left power. Left office. Walked away. It is true that his health was failing and he wanted out- but a lesser man would have wanted to be a Caesar. C'mon- this guy is one hell of an interview even on a bad day.

Probably our strongest founding father. You bet I'de interview him! I'de offer him a drink or two first tho. I did alot of research and read that he was a VERY serious man that had little time for humor lol.

I'm related to George Washington as well, is there a Scholarship for being related to the founding father of our Country?

On a personal note, I may be related to George Washington through his mother Mary Ball. It would be interesting to discuss his family so as to clear up some of the missing links. Less personal, so much has been written about Washington that I am not sure what questions remain to be asked. His predictions on the slavery issue would be of interest to historians. His position on the erosion of states' rights and the growth of the modern welfare state would be fascinating as well.

As Americans, we are all largely indebted to George Washington for his brave and bold leadership as the Commanding Officer of the Continental Army during the American Revolution, for overseeing the establishment of the American Constitution and for serving his country selflessly as the first President of the United States. In all of American history, you will not find a man more honorable and dignified, nor a man more deserving of the title Father of His Country. It would be a great honor to meet this man, just to shake his hand and thank him for his amazing service to our country and to freedom.
