 | CastleBee (88) 11/17/2003 | This one is pretty good. With few exceptions, I feel that the world would be a lot worse off without the bright, dedicated people who fall into this category. Yes, I think honoring the major accomplishments of science is a valid reason for a celebration of some kind.

 | mikeholly93 (11) 11/12/2003 | we need a national holiday to honor great inventors such as the wright brothers, alexander graham bell, and thomas edison. they invented things that are now esential to our modern culture. don't they deserve a national holiday to honor them? we also need to honor great scientists such as einstein, carl sagan, jacques cousteau, and even the astronauts who landed on the moon.
