I like movies as much as the next guy, but I'd scrap this in favor of a 47 day period called ' The National 47 Day Tribute to Harvey Korman Jamboree' in honor of that great man...

Not a bad idea, provided that on this day everyone got into 1 movie free, they got 1 small popcorn free and 1 small drink free.

I've always been a big fan of film but I don't know about this idea. This is one industry that seems to honor itself so often that any more would not only be redundant, but also fairly nauseating.

We need a national holiday that will honor American movies and all those great actors and actresses that star in them. even today's young actors like Julia Stiles and Kate Bosworth neen a day to honor them for all the movies they starred in.
