ok. but yamaha's are junk. if you want a real 2 stroke then get a honda 250r. it will last a lot longer.

Sorry to break it to you "pete68" but, the banshee doesn't have the biggest two stroke engine ever to be placed in an ATV. Suzuki built an LT500 or the "Quadzilla" that was a 500cc two stroke motor. They only made it for four years but it was indeed the biggest two stroke motor that they ever put in an ATV. While the banshee is much more sucesful and obviously a better quad, you still gotta get your facts straight.

my brother has a stock banshee and he has never gotten beat by any stock atv. if you got a long straight away then you can kiss your chance of beaten it because you cant.

yamaha banshee is an excellent bike. Sam42 is gay and don't know what he is talking about. The only reason he says yamahas don't last is cause he is pobably comparing 2 and 4 strokes. 2 strokes do need a lot more maintenance, but they will last forever. If you would do your comparisons right Sam42 you would see that yamahas 4 stroke life is 4 times that of a honda. simply cause yamahas have cnc cylinders over head cams and a lot more better technology than honda. So before nut licks like Sam42 open their stupid mouths they should compare right.

The Yamaha Banshee is one of the best bikes ever built. Unfortunately it is a Yamaha and not a Honda. Yamahas are kick ass bikes for about 5-7 years. Hondas are kick ass bikes for 10-15 years. I perfer longevity as well as performance.
