I've had my 300ex since '03 and I have not had one problem with it yet (its a honda, duh) and I've rolled it, flipped it, smashed it and crashed it. The honda plastic only flexs but doesnt break like the brittle yamaha plastic does. As far as power it has a decent bit of snot to it but its more for trailriding and light woods racing, it really doesnt have enough power to stand up to the 400's and raptors and the like, but its fun nonetheless if not a serious racing quad. That and the reverse has helped me out of a countless number of sticky spots. Definitly the quad to get for first time riders or someone who wants a fun quad to play with, but if you want to do racing, go for something with a bigger engine like the 450r.

they are pretty slow. but they are great for stunting, the low acceleration is perfect for wheelies. the suspension needs some fine tuning for stoppies but otherwise the only thing it's good for. Plus my girl loves to ride it

This atv sucks!! But it would be good for a 5 year old it has no power, no suspension and no looks! Get A raptor 350 they are 5 times the quad.

slow and not much power. get a 400ex instead. 400ex has tons more power and its alot faster

I own an 03 300ex and I have a little over 700$ in it and it will destroy eneything 400 snd below. Best sport quad made Period

I've been looking for a sport quad that will give out enough performance, but I want to stay within 3,000 to about 4,000$. I'm thinkin the 300EX is the 0ne, but I need a second oppiniyon from somebody who's ridden another quad in its class.

i have a 300ex with only a procircut pipe and my friend has a raptor 350 i blew it away.....

I have a Raptor 350 stock and i kicked the 300ex ass. I have no problem with this machine but the raptor 350 is better so if anyone is looking for a good quad make it yamaha.

This is by far the most fun sport atv in its class! I would never pass a ride on this baby any day. I love its low end acceleration but if you want more speed just fork out 220 dollars and the 300ex will top out at 67mph!! (radar tested)!!!

I ride my friends EX300 since I don't have one. I have a CR85 but somthings missing I need a EX300!

Bought two new Honda's. Had both for two months now with zero problems. For trail use - 100% For dirtroad etc. need a 6th gear.

The usual honda dependability wrapped in a generous sport-quad package. If you have to have reverse, in your sportmodel, this is your toy.
