Majorit of them are dicks. They kinda have to be to keep things going. I hate the over bearing types. I did have some laid back cool bosses too tho.

I am my boss. I love me...

I love my boss, but sometimes I fear we will end up having an affair so I try to stay clear of him...there is way too much attraction between the two of us...my boss is also never in my face and pretty much lets me run things how I want...once in a blue moon he will jump in and give advice...but would never make me do it...also- I am probably the only employee that is ever allowed to raise my voice at him and tell him when he is wrong...so therefore alot of co-workers and even my own employees under me resent me for it...and just like Enkidu said...most think the place is there just to make them happy...don't think so...

Nope: I love my boss; he leaves me alone and lets me do it whatever way I want. I bet I get lots of one-stars from the people who work for me, though, who think the company exists only to make them happy.

my boss is a sweetheart. the people above her are complete idiots though.

I feel lucky enough to say that, at the moment, my bosses (at various levels) are pretty decent. They seem to give me more freedoms and more access to various things than others in similar positions as I, but at the same time, they give me more difficult (tedious, more accurately) work. Either way, they're nice people.

Bosses can cross the line and be too bossy and not give you room to work. They can be condescending and insult your intelligence. Some can play favorites. Some can be too friendly and easy going, and not enforce the rules or issue discipline. Some can be lazy and too delagatory and make the employees do all the work.

I'm my own, and I drive myself nuts on a daily basis.
