good funny movie

Wasn't too bad!

Stinker. The Scream series does a much better job at satirizing the horror genre. Scary movie 2 (or 1, or 3 for that matter), in essence a satire of a satire, has all groaners and very few chuckles. Very raunchy too,

Much better than the first!

Good points: Plenty of funny moments and gags, Ethnically diverse cast, Regina Hall's quote about Calista Flockhart. Bad: Too cliche.

"Scary Movie 2" was much, much better than the first film. For one, it was just funnier. And secondly, the sex was toned down. If they use this film as the model and do not resort to their tactics in the first film, the Wayans Bros. will have a huge hit with "Scary Movie 3". I really thought that James Woods was hilarious in the beginning as the "father" in the spoof of the "Exercist". My favorite character was "Hanson the Caretaker"... "Take My Strong Hand..." LOL. This movie also makes fun of "Poltegeist" and "The Haunting". It really is funny, and if you did not like the first one, don't let that keep you from seeing this one because it really is awesome.

I liked it, and the guy with the hand was hilarious, but the firts one was definitly funnier. I hope to se the third one that is coming out soon as well- who knows - it could be funnier than the first-- or it couls totaly suck- we'll have to wait and see! :)

One word: obscene! I'm not a puritan, but I thought the sex jokes were revolting. Imagine that in Italy it's rated "G"....and parents will rent it for their 10-year-old children. The problem is, it isn't even funny at all...

I mean it was not as good as the first by far!The begnning was funny but it turned out to boring not funny!

Like the trash heap that is the American Pie series, this movie series never deserved to be made either. Once again, sex jokes are used as a crutch just to attract the teens when parody and comedy can be executed just as well in clean ways. Don't even get paid to watch it!

The opening scene was great, and there were a few choice sequences that were really funny. Overall, an okay movie. The first one is definitely better, though.

Scary Movie was the best film of 2000, hands down, teens around the world loved it, it was so funny. Although Scary Movie 2 has already taken in $70 million at the box office, the film isn't as good as the original. The beginning is really funny, but it gets less funny, and more less funny every 15 minutes.
