Not a problem...yet. But, as attention spans weaken there will be a problem and I heard that MLB is already planning. First, 'at bats' will be limited to one pitch in the strike zone and it must be anyone of the sanctioned Eephus Pitches (see video). If the pitch is not hittable, the umpire will remotely set off the electric grid that is buried under the mound, knocking the pitcher out cold. This will require teams to expand their pitching roster to 125...each paid by-the-pitch. Second, games will be limited to three ininnings. One of the bases will be loaded with a claymore and along with various other bets that fans can place, wagers will be placed on which one will be the exploding base. And finally, steel doors will trap the losing team in their dugouts and they will all be sent to Mr Wu. This will end the season in 5 games (Game 3 is the All Star Game. Game 5 is the World Series). All vendors will be nude exotic dancers and the scoreboards will broadcast an endless loop of Oscar's reviews on anything Christofino.

I enjoy watching the playoffs because it seems that the two teams are really fighting for something!!! But in the regular season I can't watch it, it seems too long! I think that's why my family calls me a fair weather supporter!!!

Update: Huge problem. They aren't long enough....Original review:Could be quicker but hardly the biggest deal in the world. For those who want to radically change the game, by going to 7 innings tops and the like, you need to get your mind out of the instant gratification, short attention span mode. And by the way, back in the days of the game's inception, games tended to be shorter. What has lengthened games, to a large degree, is the advent of television.

A complaint by boy-wonder sportswriters who grew up in the attention-deficit-disorder decades of the 80's and 90's and started yawning immediately when the music video was in the second verse of the song.Go take Ritalin and turn the dial if you don't like baseball. It doesn't need you.

I would like to give it a four, but it is baseball. You can't change the number of innings. It is hard to sit down and watch a whole game without being there, though.

The games go by real fast it seems, once you get used to it. It also depends on whether or not the game is close. Blowout games seem like forever because of the certainty of the outcome.

The game is too freaking long. The game length is a holdover from it's inception when there was nothing betgter to do but watch a game. The games should be no more than 7 innings tops.

The reason why this is even up here is because people don't understand the strategy that is taking place at all times. People don't find it exciting because it is too complex for them

Overrated. Only turns off the people who don't really like the sport anyways. Football is longer and has just as many breaks in the action but that hasn't turned people off from that.

Game only seems long because there is no clock. Anyway who cares, if you don't like it, don't watch. Personally I like U.S. Open golf coverage. 7 hours Saturday and Sunday.

One minute of baseball is one minute too long!!!! Don't shorten the game, shorten the season for Christ sake.

Only the NFL is longer. In fact a strong correlation exists where the longer the game/sport the more popular the sport is with the American public. Look it up. Baseball should only focus on consistent umps.
