AT&T Park is the most beautiful ballpark in the most beautiful city in the United States. It sits on only 13 acres nestled naturally on its site. Its short right field line (309') is that way due to its proximity to the water and not because some designer thought that would be a "neat" quirk. The 24' wall plus bay winds make it a more difficult target for splash hits than one would expect. The park plays fair (not favoring hitters or pitchers), the grass is not mowed in those annoying patterns but sits as solid green and speaks for itself. The old fashioned brick style, knot-hole gang free view of the field, and unbelievable views combine to make this the best ballpark in the league. The "House that Bonds Built" is timeless. Look for it to host the 2007 MLB All-Star Game next month. It is a truly must-see!!

The playing field is interesting. Deep alleys, Wind, Short left porch, Beautifull vistas, Splash hits make the building great. The new fans who show off their money and lack of baseball knowlege make the vibe weak. Building=Great, Fans=lack heart.
