He did have his moments, namely with the singles Doctor My Eyes, Running On Empty, Somebody's Baby, and That Girl Could Sing; however, material such as The Pretender and Tender Is The Night sounded flat and uninspired. Jackson Browne was born on October 9, 1948 in Heidelberg, Germany.
