 | GenghisTheHun (168) 04/18/2008 | O.k. beer, but please keep the fruit out of my beer. I am not presently in danger of dying of scurvy.

 | joblood (0) 03/14/2008 | Tecate is a light tasting beer without the after taste of Corona and others

 | IslaMota (0) 06/22/2007 | The fitst time I had this beer was on a return trip from Czechoslovakia (at the time). I admit I was prejeduced. It reminded me of seltzer water after drinking all that heavy headed european stuff. Now I dig it because I live in the south not to unlike the Mexican weather and light beers go better when you are sweating, eating, playing in the surf etc. Clean and refreshing! I will buy this beer again for the summer!

 | earthbound (37) 05/31/2007 | Simple, cheap, crisp and refreshing. Not the flashiest, but a good, honest to God beer, that goes down nicely on a hot day.

 | ProjectKram (0) 10/19/2006 | Tecate used to be one of my favorites, until Modelo, Pacifico and Carta Blanca started dominating my taste buds. Compared to those beers, Tecate is rather light tasting. I still enjoy Tecate on occasion, but mainly during the summer. Best enjoyed in cans with lime and salt.

 | the beer drinker (0) 10/11/2005 | if u really want a true opinion of this beer this is the bottom line.tecate is probably one of the best beers out there. with a smooth taste it just makes u want another one. thats the problem with alot of beers they have a good taste but after two no more. before u talk bad about this beer taste it first then try a corona, a bud, or anything else. u'll see the diffrence

 | CanadaSucks (45) 07/29/2005 | Ugh. Ghetto beer. Stale, flat taste. ..Only gets 2 stars because of the cheap price.

It gets the job done. It's cheap Mexican beer but it still is better than Budweiser.

 | Djahuti (54) 02/06/2005 | As far as taste and price go-Tecate is much better than many pricier Mexican Brews.

 | kolby1973 (32) 07/02/2004 | When Tecate is ice cold, it is great. It goes down really smooth and almost always has a nice flavor. I prefer drinking it out of the bottle however. I rarely drink canned beer, regardless of the brand...

 | OldSeaRock (0) 07/02/2004 | This is the pits of Mexican beer. Very little flavor, akin to amber colored carbonated water with a sour aftertaste. I've never met many beers I didn't like - this is one of the few.

 | magellan (153) 12/12/2003 | My favorite cheap beer. It tastes kind of like a metallic tinged Corona (I know that doesn't sound very good.) There's a bar near my place that serves $2 tecates every night - which is pretty good for sf - and you can't beat it. There's also a nice throwback factor to drinking beer out of cans.

 | Ruby (15) 11/30/2003 | OK its a pretty low-end beer but there's something about Tecate that I really like. I will admit though that it angers me to see Tecate treated like a high-end beer. I once bought a round of Tecates at a New York club for six of us and the price tag was $36 before tip! $36 should buy four cases of Tecate.
