I don't always drink Mexican beer, but when I do I haven't been particularly impressed by Dos Equis.

The Dos Equis special lager is the perfect party beer. This beer is a good combination with Corona.

Dos X ambar, very light flavor good for hot weather poor taste. Dos x obscura thats more like a proper beer, with a more creamy texture .

I drank Bud and budlight since high school (23 yrs ago). About 5 months ago I tried Dos XX's and have not touched any other beer, I'm in love!!!

This beer is just awful,it gives a taste like if you were drinking urine(i don't what it taste like but this beer is pretty close.

Seems like the premium beer of the group. Crisp and refreshing (if cold) and actually has some hop flavor. Good choice to go with a sizzling platter of fajitas.

The better of the border beers.Very popular in Rocky Point. Remember the human body does not recognize the impurities in the border beers(tecate, DosEquis,Sol,Pacifico,Corona) so don't forget the lime and salt, it's a must.

I'm not crazy about Dos Equis. If you're at a place that has Dos Equis, they probably have Negra Modelo as well. Drink that one instead.

I use to drink the other Mexican beer that started with a "C". I drank it for a long time. I had tried a few others but the "C" was the one for me until... I took a trip to Rocky Point, Mexico. There was an event that was held by the Dos Equis Group. They didn't have a "C" in sight. So I tried the "XX" and I was in love. The deal closer was when the Dos Equis girls can out. HELL Yeah! I will never have any other beer. The amber is ok, but the lager is the best there is. "XX" on the bottle means "XXX" in my mouth.

My co-worker & I have a couple beers after work every Friday. One day I decided to buy a 12 pack of Dos Equis lager for us, & we've been drinking it every week since. I've had both the amber & the lager, & they're both great. But I much prefer the lager. It's excellent with food, & is different in flavor from other Mexican beers. But like most mexican beers, isn't overwhelmingly strong. Hard to go wrong with this beer.

Dos Equis XX especial lager is my favorite beer! I drank a keg in 1 month and 6 days by myself! No other beer has satisfied my taste than Dos equis XX lager! Bud light, budwiesier or any other ber is worth it! Dos equis XX lager is the emperior!

Maybe the best Mexican beer I've tried, but the one thats least like the others. A little fuller tasting than most Mexican beers and dark, the only dark Mexican beer I've seen but still crisp and clean tasting.

I have tasted and drank well over 100 different beers from all over the world. Dos Equis amber is without qualification my all-time, number one favorite beer. Great with food or by itself with a hunk of lime. The best there is irregardless of price.

Light and smooth to the last drop. Flavor is not overwhelmingly bold. It's probably under-rated in comparison to Modelo beer.

Flavor is okay. . .color and taste is decent. . .not a bad beer if slightly overrated.

Dos Equis is the first Mexican beer I had and I still rate it numero uno.

this beer is okay. i dont like the image of it, however. you can basically get this anywhere in America, but the only place i ever see this drank is at a mexican restaurant by some dumb Joe Worker who put down the Budweiser so that he can seem ethnic for the 10 minutes it takes to eat a burrito.

Good beer but Tecate is even better and costs less.
