Check your brain cells at the door. Worthless, unfunny crap.

It was abviously funny as hell. But I only gave this movie 3 stars because it doesn't even slighty resemble a shadow of the hilarious original.

Far superior to its predacessor, "American Pie 2" really was an enjoyable movie that had me laughing my tail off from start to finish. I think that this film did better at developing the characters than the first one did. We began to understand Jim's (Jason Biggs) struggles and problems, which made for great comedy. A very good movie. "What was that???"... "I just shoved a trumpet in your a$$".

What a horrible sequel to a funny original. Those friends are such losers. The kid from rookie of the year is such a girl...way too sensative. Mia S. and her boyfriend need to be written out of the script...LOSERS!!!! Only Stiffler and his bro saved the movie.

Pretty funny, but the first one is better.

I must admit that i am a fan of the original and did think that the second could not be as good, but they pulled it off very successfully. I've read the other comments on this movie and find that if anyone had watched the original they would absolutely love this and if you hated the original and its sex jokes don't watch this one. Howeverm with the crazy antics that Jim and his pals get up to will leave you laughing so hard and even has a cheesy love sentiment about it (for you romantic types). All actors pull off their performances with wit and consistency. This is a film to be enjoyed by any teenager, just don't take (what one person noted - the 'mocking' of modern teenagers) seriously. It's all in good fun and will make you laugh all over again.

I found this movie a bit annoying and hope there won't be a Pie3. There is a good message to be found with regards to dating the band camp girl but the rest appears to be a rehash of the first.

This was even funnier than the first one, and the first one was a blast.
realitygirl 03/17/2002
I loved the first and the second was just as good or even better.

ok, i loved the humor in this one better than the first and its totally more insane... but i think they play Finch WAYYY too much. he can only be funny to a limit. also, not enough Vicky and Jessica... i dont think they even had a role. Seann William Scott and Jason Biggs and Alyson Hannigan pooled this movie off nicely

Is this the fate of TV comedy in ten years? This disguisting waste of film didn't deserve to be made, especially into a useless sequel. These sex-centered teen movies show what teens shouldn't do. Whatever happened to good old clean comedy? Now, I'm no prude, but is anything besides sex funny? Of course it is! Take a look at Beverly Hillbillies, I Love Lucy on TV or Toy Story 2, Some Like it Hot as far as Movies. Rated R, which is an underrate in my opinion.

This piece of worthless filth is not only a testament to the emptiness of modern American cinema, but also a cultural void, sucking the spirits of a generation of youth. Not only is it unfunny, but also painfully crude, with predictable gags about (snicker) MASTURBATION (snicker) and people that stick flutes up each others' asses... What? It resorts to recirculations of the already wothless gags of the original, and continues in its predecessor's path of the dehumanization of women. The glorifiaction of almost pre-adolescent behavior is extended into a sequence praising, in essence, the male predeliction for pornographic voyuerism of lesbians, and exhibits reluctance among the boys toward homosexuality- but they'll do anything to watch two girls together. There's nothing sexy about anything in the film, but there is offense on layers. The worst insult to women since "Road Trip".

I enjoyed this sequal very much. It was just as good as the first. I was bit dubious about the sequel but it was done really well.It helped haveing all the original people in it as the film could jump straight into the story.very funny jokes and heart warming at the end as all things were tied in. A must see!

Just as good as 1 - one of the only sequel besides the Godfather and Alien to have such a strong sequel. Hilarious.

I enjoyed American Pie 2. The sequel to this teenage comedy, seemed to have more heart than the first one, where everything was about teenagers and their wild adventures. Don't get me wrong, the sequel had the same expected humour impact, but a bit more sensitive. If you thought you got to know the characters really well in the previous movie, this one actually goes deeper into their true feelings and exhibits their emotions at a better level conclusive level. By the end of the film you know that American Pie 2 provided a close to all characters and relationships, therefore making it very hard for a next sequel. Overall, I was pretty satisfied, and even surprised with the outcome of American Pie 2, since I had much lower expectations from it.

It was decent. I wasn't a huge fan of the first one, but was somehow dragged to the sequel. Not that much worse, but definitely not any better.

I actually enjoyed American Pie 2. I thought it was definitely amusing, and it was one of those movies you went in with low expectations and were pleasantly surprised. Unlike a lot of other sequels, this one was just as good or better than the first. They used a lot of new jokes instead of just redoing the popular ones from the first movie, like some other movies out there (*cough*Austin Powers 2*cough*). While it's not Oscar quality by any means, it's definitely worth seeing if you enjoy the type of movie. If you go in expecting sophisticated humor and an excellent plot, then you're going to be disappointed for sure. But if you expect it to be the fun, silly movie it tries to be, you'll find it does the job well.

This movie was inane and disgusting. You know, it really bugs me when films that feel as though they don't really have enough a.) actors who can handle real, funny material, and b.) real, funny material, have to resort to gross-out gay and masturbation jokes. True, the American Pie francise's fan base isn't really made up of disinguished film-goers, I at least have enough faith in these teenagers to recognize a cheap, flailing attempt to get a laugh. Being a teenager, I don't appreciate having my intelligence underestimated, and when I walked out of this movie(which I was only seeing because I was waiting for the next showing of the others-I would not pay to see an American Pie movie)I felt as though my I.Q. had dropped several points. I don't know, I thought I'd give it a chance. The first movie at least had the redeeming Oz-choir girl romance that was sweet for the most part and not all about sex. One has to think, what do the adults, after watching this movie, think about today's teenagers? That we are all sex-obsessed and really stupid? (Jim.) I do not by any means recommend this women exploiting farce of a movie.
